Summary: Coralie was super friendly, helpful and a great host. The hotel is 2 mins from the beach and opposite a great Pizza restaurant which is always busy with locals. A wonderful stay!

Summary: Old hotel. They keep it clean and they’re very very nice people, but it’s not the nicest place, the walls are paper thin and you’re still 20 minutes from Taormina which isn’t mentioned in the description.

Summary: Nice location, good swimmable beach across a road. Very good service and proximity to Taormina, Etna, and small charming villages. Breakfast is good too.

Summary: Wonderful staff and breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean. If I ever come back to Sicily, I would stay here. It is a bit out of the way if you're coming during off-peak season since the public transportation is scarce. I would rent a car next time.

Summary: Coralie and her staff were always so nice and helpful. The breakfast had a variety of delicious options. The property is conveniently located close to the beach and a couple really good restaurants. We 100% preferred the beach in line with the hotel compared to the private one that the shuttle brings you to because you’re dependant on the shuttle service to get back which was not reliable when we were there and much more uncomfortable rocks under our feet.

Summary: 1) Donna Rosa is a clean and well operated hotel that offers excellent value in a great location. The hotel staff was friendly and the breakfast was excellent! 2) The beach is very nice with clear waters and only five minutes walk from the hotel front door. 3) The hotel is less than fifteen minutes from Savoca, where the Godfather movie was filmed. There are lots of very picturesque vista points in Savoca. 4) The hotel owner and manager, Coralie, went out of her way to answer our questions and provided valuable tips to make our exploration of the area enjoyable.
